Political Prude has steadily grown in reputation for its sharp political conversations and accessible analysis, bringing depth and clarity to Singapore’s political landscape. Over time, it has become a trusted source for young listeners, especially Gen Z and millennials, by making complex political and current affairs topics digestible. The show has hosted a wide range of influential guests– from ruling party leaders like Minister Chan Chun Sing and Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong, to opposition voices such as SDP Chairman Dr. Paul Tambyah, as well as subject matter experts including diplomat Professor Tommy Koh, British High Commissioner Nikesh Mehta, and OCBC Chief Economist Selena Ling. These conversations have given listeners unique insights into Singapore’s governance and global standing, from foreign policy and diplomacy to Singapore’s electoral system.
Meanwhile, What Do I Know? With Joanne Peh showcases Joanne’s ability to weave candid, thoughtful stories that resonate with listeners, navigating everyday cultural and social issues. Across four seasons, the show explored themes of “What You Should Know That You Don’t Know” and “Women in the Spotlight” which featured a diverse lineup of guests from Minister Grace Fu to celebrities like Sheila Sim and Ferlyn G, as well as underrepresented voices like intimacy coordinator Rayann Condy. A standout moment from the show included Sharon Au’s vulnerable reflections on insecurities and a fabricated marriage, while a clip with sleep specialist Dr. Kenny Pang drew over 3.5 million views, underscoring the podcast’s ability to blend emotional reflections with practical insights
